Our Inquiry Topic is: Actions Speak Louder than Words

This term we made penguin boxes. We made them because there population are going down.

We did this because they are special to New Zealand.

We placed our boxes at the beach in the sand dunes near Humunatua Stream.


To monitor our penguin boxes we made a google map of wainui beach with are penguin box location.

Tuatara adventure!

Room 5 went to Young Nicks head and saw a tuatara and it was awesome.We started at a gate and walked  for a couple of minutes then we hat to go up a hill my legs were tired even though we just started.There was a lot of rabitat poo as we went up the hill then we got to the place .Then Nic called them and said we here but we actually had to go to the other hill so went to the other hill and saw cheryl we had lunch and carried on walking.

Pest!!

Hi, We went in to google sheets and made a bar graph. The bar graph was about pests. The rat was the most common pest out of all of them. The least common pest is the hedgehog. The holl total was 18 pest. That doesn't include nothing. If it did include nothing than it would be 28.
